Returns & Refunds Policy – Dirac Fashion

At Dirac Fashion, we take pride in offering authentic East African Dirac fabric sets and accessories made with care and attention to detail. We want you to love your purchase. If you are not completely satisfied, please review our returns policy below.

EU Right of Withdrawal (EU Customers) If you are based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of delivery of the last item in your order, without giving any reason. If the 14-day deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it extends to the next working day.

You also have the right to cancel your order at any time before it is fulfilled, free of charge.

Please note: A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from all approved returns. This applies to EU customers and is disclosed here in advance as required by EU law. Return shipping costs are your responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

1. Eligibility for Returns We accept returns for unused, unworn, and unwashed items in their original condition, with all tags attached and original packaging included. To be eligible for a return:

  • You must contact us within 14 days of delivery of the last item in your order
  • The item must be returned to us within 28 days of delivery
  • Your return must include your order number and proof of purchase

If the 14-day return deadline falls on a weekend or public holiday, it extends to the next working day.

Please note: We reserve the right to refuse a refund if the item shows any signs of wear, use, damage, or missing tags. Non-returnable items include:

  • Custom-made or altered Dirac sets
  • Sale or clearance items (marked as final sale)
  • Opened or worn scarves/underlayers

2. Cancellations You may cancel your order at any time before it has been fulfilled. To cancel, please contact us immediately at diracfashion@yahoo.com with your order number. Once an order has been fulfilled and dispatched, our standard returns process applies.

3. How to Request a Return To initiate a return, please email us at diracfashion@yahoo.com with:

  • Your order number
  • The item(s) you wish to return
  • The reason for return

Once approved, we will provide full return instructions, including the correct return address. Please do not send items back without approval, as this may delay or void your refund.

4. Return Shipping UK Returns: Customers are responsible for return postage unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

EU & International Returns — Customers are fully responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Customs documentation
  • Any import/export duties or fees

We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service (e.g., Royal Mail, DHL, UPS). Dirac Fashion is not responsible for items lost, delayed, or damaged during return transit.

If the return is approved due to a defective or incorrect item, we will cover all return shipping costs.

5. Refunds Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

Please note:

  • A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from all approved returns
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, including express or international delivery fees
  • If your order originally qualified for free shipping and the return reduces the order value below the free shipping threshold, the standard shipping cost will be deducted from your refund
  • Refunds will be issued in the original currency of purchase

6. Exchanges We do not offer direct exchanges due to limited stock availability. If you would like a different item, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order separately.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at diracfashion@yahoo.com. Please include your order number and clear photos of the issue. We will prioritise your case and offer a replacement or full refund at no additional cost.

8. Important Notes for International Customers We strongly recommend reviewing product details, sizing, and images carefully before ordering. International returns can be costly, and return shipping and fees are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.
